We are looking for Engineer - Localization for our office Tungsten Montenegro for the distributed teams.
Responsibilities
Developing and executing against localization and Internationalization requirements;
Leading localization projects such as translation of technical content and software resource files into foreign language and foreign country requirements;
Preparing localization schedules, plans, and requirement documents;
Working with localization vendors on translation requirements;
Building and de-bugging localized versions of Kofax products and solutions; coordinating with Quality Assurance and others during release phases;
Preparing plans and localization kits;
Working with and providing a localization/internationalization perspective with cross-functional teams, such as Core Engineering, Technical Communication, and Product Management;
Supporting other internal and external partners/stakeholders/customers in responding to localization inquiries and/or other ad hoc needs;
Staying abreast of industry and field developments; remaining current in the latest quality assurance testing and localization technologies
Skills and requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred;
Typically has a minimum of 2 years’ relevant technical experience;
Has a minimum of 1 or more years’ previous experience with similar product lines or subject areas as Kofax;
Understanding concepts of software internationalization, localization, and translation memory;
Experience in using localization tools (CAT tools): Trados Studio and Passolo a plus, or similar other CAT tools;
Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) a plus, or other similar Application Lifecycle Management tools;
Fluent in more than one language (writing/reading/speaking) is preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently on larger or more complex assignments and to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and efficiently
